How it Works

We know the music production process sometimes can be chaotic. That’s why in GoMixing we try to simplify and make it as straightforward as possible with 4 clear steps.

CONTACT

Go to the contact section and fill out the form.

As soon as we get your message, we will try to reply with a completely custom non-binding quote. Remember that the more details you give us, the more detailed and precise the budget you are going to receive will be. We try to answer all the questions really fast it normally takes less than 48h. If you are not sure about what specific service you need or you want to hire, you can always check the Services’ Section. This way you can also have an idea about the custom quote you are about to receive.

Files

Send us your project files.

We need to receive your project’s files, preferably in a compressed .zip folder. The more organized everything is, the better. You don’t know how to prepare your files in order to get the best results from any mixing service? Don’t worry, check this post and follow these easy guidelines we made for you.

For this purpose you can use any large file transfer service, we recommend WeTransfer or Google Drive but there are many others which are perfectly fine (DropBox, MediaFire, HighTail, MyAirbridge etc.). The only important thing is that you let us know how you are going to do it. You can find below direct access to the most employed Large Files Transfer Platform!

Provisional Mix and Feedback

Now it is time to do our job.

Your part is already done and now it is time to see how your investment pays off. During the process we will be in contact in case more information is required or you have more doubts or suggestions. After the delivery period, you will receive a provisional mix so you can take your time, test the mix in different listening environments and think if you want any change in the mix. Take into consideration that the ‘Provisional Mix’ is not a mastered file, this means it won’t be very loud (this will come later during the mastering process).

Mastering and Final Approval

We receive your feedback, adjust and master your song.

Once we have received your feedback, we change the mix to your taste doing all the corrections and adjustments required. After the mix is exactly how you want it, we proceed with the mastering process for the final approval.

The process only finishes when the client is completely satisfied.
